At Off the Coast, our mission is to be Maine's international poetry magazine. We believe small presses and literary magazines are the lifeblood and testing ground for all writers. A handful of writers break through to major houses, but a much larger voice would go unheard if not for small presses and literary magazines. We aim to provide space for diverse voices, particularly poetry in translation.
Off the Coast is a biannual journal published June 15th and November 15th. Submitters will be notified within three (3) months of submission. We accept simultaneous submissions, but please inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

Send 3–5 previously unpublished poems, any subject or style. Please include contact information and a 1–2 sentence bio.
We accept both color and B&W graphics and photos.
Send 3-6 images in tiff, png, or jpg format with a resolution of 300 dpi.
